This bill authorizes the Department of Public Safety to seek, accept, and expend gifts, grants, and donations (gifts) to fund activities of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Any moneys received are to be credited to the newly created Colorado Bureau of Investigation Gifts, Grants, and Donations Fund, and are subject to annual appropriation by the General Assembly. Any unexpended or unencumbered moneys remain in the fund at the end of each fiscal year.
