(During the March 8, 2006, committee meeting, Representative Gardner explained that the resolution would use General Fund revenue retained by the state under Referendum C in excess of the amount estimated to be retained in the Blue Book during state fiscal years 2005-06 through 2009-10 as a funding source. Amendment L.001 removes this initial funding mechanism in the resolution. The motion passed without objection by those members present.
