Representative Knoedler presented an overview of and testified in favor of House Bill 06-1135, concerning a modification to the threshold amount of campaign contributions that necessitates disclosure of information about the person making the contribution under Colorado law governing campaign finance. Representative Knoedler responded to questions regarding disclosure of persons making contributions and the entities covered by this bill.

Mr. Rob Fairbank, representing himself, testified in favor of House Bill 06-1135. Mr. Fairbank distributed copies of a handout to the committee detailing anonymous contributions made to small donor political action committees in the 2004 election cycle (Attachment H). Mr. Fairbank and Representative Knoedler responded to questions regarding the number of contributions that a donor can make during an election cycle.
