02:02 PM -- House Bill 06-1355

Senator Isgar, prime sponsor, said that the bill clarifies provisions of law relating to raffles of big game hunting.

02:04 PM -- Rick Kahn, Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW), said that DOW is looking for more consistency in the operation of the raffles and that the bill will allow costs of the raffles to be recouped.

02:05 PM -- Bill Jones, Safari Club International, commented on the financing of raffles conducted by his organization. He said that the proceeds of the raffles are used for deer habitat management.

02:09 PM -- Ivan James, Colorado Bowhunter's Association, supported the bill.

02:10 PM -- Bob Meulengracht, Mule Deer Foundation, commented on the financing of raffles conducted by his organization.
