Senator Shaffer called the first meeting of the first conference committee on SB06-145 to order. Senator Shaffer explained that the Senate did not concur with the House's addition of a hold harmless clause to SB06-145. Senator Shaffer offered, for discussion, a proposed conference committee report (Attachment A) to amend the rerevised version of SB06-145 by striking this hold harmless clause. Representative McCluskey commented that this amendment was necessary and that the parties affected by this bill support this amendment.
