Senator Tochtrop, prime sponsor, said that the bill would expand authority to have simulcasting of greyhound racing. She said that the greyhound racing industry is struggling in Colorado.

Eric Morgan, Colorado Greyhound Kennel Association, said that the bill does not increase the number of days of simulcasting or the number of facilities. He supported the bill.

Dan Hartman, Director, Division of Racing Events, was present to answer questions.

02:10 PM -- Danny Williams, Wembley, supported the bill. He said that 120 days of racing per day is currently allowed. He said that the number of participants is declining in recent years.
