Representative Green, chairwoman, called the conference committee to order. She distributed a handout outlining the provisions of House Bill 1090, and asked for any amendments. Senator Mitchell indicated that he would be offering amendments regarding the look-back provisions of the measure. Representative Gardener asked for clarification of the damage caps and how they relate to private entities and public employees. Julie Peligrin, Office of Legislative Legal Services, indicated the differences in the reengrossed and rerevised bill, as it relates to damages.
