01:37 PM -- Senate Bill 06-120

Senator Veiga announced that SB 155 would be laid over for hearing until Wednesday, February 15. She asked Senator Dyer to proceed with his other bill.

01:38 PM

Senator Dyer introduced his bill regarding the requirements of a state agency when suspending, revoking, or otherwise restricting a regulatory license. The bill would require that the information provided to a licensee be the result of a full investigation. The committee asked for clarification for the circumstances under which the new requirements might have been useful. The committee asked additional questions of the sponsor. Senator Takis asked how the requirement of "objective" would be met. She asked about which licenses would be exempt.

02:02 PM

Senator Dyer made closing comments on the merits of the bill.
