09:36 AM -- Senate Joint Resolution 06-002

Senator Isgar, prime sponsor, described the resolution concerning eligibilty lists for the Water Project Revolving Fund administered by the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority. He responded to committee questions. The bill makes modifications to the eligibility list.

09:39 AM -- Dan Law, Executive Director, Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority, said that the Board supports this resolution. He said that the resolution will ease the funding process for these projects. He commented on program funding by the federal government. He noted that $111 million has been received to date for the drniking water program, and $196 million for the water pollution program, (not including funding expected this year.) He said that the funds are not commingled with other funds. He noted that the proposed amendment corrects the project list included in the resolution.
