In response to a committee question, Chip Taylor, Colorado Counties, Inc., spoke to the percentage increase from category to category for county commissioner salaries. Mr. Taylor responded to committee concerns that, under the bill's provisions, county commissioner salaries would increase at a higher rate than other elected officials, most of whom work full time jobs while some county commissioners do not work full-time.
