08:32 AM -- Department of Labor and Employment Emergency Supplemental Request

Mr. Wayne Peel, Budget Director, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), presented an emergency supplemental request for federal funds spending authority to replace the roof and make interior repairs associated with water damage from the leaking roof at the Frisco Workforce Center. Committee members received a description of the request, prepared by Legislative Council Staff (Attachment A). Mr. Peel explained the circumstances that led to the roof damage and responded to questions about the type of roof that needs repair.
