Senator Tochtrop discussed draft report CLSB227.001 (Attachment A). She explained that the report strikes the portion of the bill that exempts state, federal, and political subdivisions from complying with the reporting requirements contained in the rerevised bill. Senator Tochtrop explained that it was necessary that the bill be sent to conference committee to strike the exemption because the house amendments included other technical changes that needed to be included in the bill.
