Senator Tochtrop, conference committee chair, distributed a draft committee report, CLSB131.001 (Attachment A). She described the provisions of the report. The draft report specifies that the Senate accede to the House amendments made to the bill, as the amendments appear in the revised bill, with amendments. She explained that the CLSB131.001 specifies that the eight percent limitation does not apply to class I facilities with an average annual Medicaid resident census that exceeds 64 percent of the number of actual residents or to a class I facility whose rate may be increased pursuant to the bill.

Representative McFadyen discussed the draft report. She stated that the amendments were technical in nature.
