Dr. Hall presented two of the three new task force members. She introduced Undersheriff Paul Siska, Adams County Sheriff's Office and the Community Reach Center. Undersheriff Siska discussed his qualifications and his experience with mental health and law enforcement. The committee discussed crisis intervention training (CIT) for police officers and sheriff's deputies.

Dr. Hall introduced Julie Miller, Director of Women's Treatment Services (the Haven), University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Ms. Miller discussed her work with women with co-occuring mental health/substance abuse disorders. She talked about her background as a licensed professional counselor. She detailed the application process for a sentence to the Haven rather than prison.

Dr. Hall presented the resume of Jeanne Rohner, Executive Director of the Mental Health Association of Colorado, who was unable to attend the meeting. Dr. Hall stated her strong recommendation for Ms. Rohner.
