Representative Romanoff explained that should House Bill 05-1194 be approved by voters in the November 2005, General Election, House Bill 05-1350 would specify how moneys from House Bill 05-1194 would be appropriated or spent for specific purposes enumerated in House Bill 05-1350. The committee briefly discussed the spending purposes in House Bill 05-1350. Representative Romanoff distributed amendment L.002 (Attachment A) to committee members and explained the amendment as a technical change that would clarify language pertaining to institutions of higher education.
