Representative Curry, sponsor, described the provisions of SB05-186 concerning the Species Conservation Trust Fund (SCTF). She also described revenue sources for the fund and explained that it would be almost depleted by this appropriation.

Committee discussion followed about funding for habitat studies and the potential de-listing of the prebbles meadow jumping mouse.
