Representative Hall, prime sponsor, commented that under current law, the Office of State Planning and Budgeting (OSPB) is required to submit all agency budget requests for the upcoming fiscal year to the Joint Budget Committee (JBC) by November 1 of each year. Representative Hall explained Senate Bill 05-229 specifies that the OSPB shall ensure submission of all agency requests for FY 2006-07 by November 15, 2005.

After a brief committee discussion, Representative Vigil, Chairman, placed the bill on the table for action.
