Mr. Pat Steadman, representing the Colorado Association of Family and Children's Agencies, spoke in favor of Amendment L.002. He explained that the amendment clears up confusion about relinquishment and a technical error in the statutes. In response to questions from the committee, he clarified that the amendment also corrects another issue. Representative Hefley furthered explained the second correction in L.002.
