Senator Isgar gave an overview of the bill concerning the creation of a roadless areas review task force. Three handouts brought by Senator Isgar were distributed to the committee (Attachments A, B, and C) that provided information on the U.S. Forest Service's Roadless Rule.

02:48 PM -- Vera Smith, Conservation Director, Colorado Mountain Club (CMC), testified in favor of the bill. Ms. Smith noted that CMC only supports the bill with amendment L.001 (Attachment D).

02:52 PM -- Matt Baker, Director, Environment Colorado, testified in support of the bill with amendment L.001, and noted that the local chapters of the National Audubon Society and Trout Unlimited also support the bill with the amendment.
