The nominees, Clarke D. Becker, Ruben A. Valdez, and Senator Norma Anderson came to the table. Senator Peggy Reeves, though being reconfirmed today, was not present, as she had her confirmation hearing on February 24, 2005. A copy of the nominees' appointment letter, application, and resume are attached (Attachment A). Senator Norma Anderson, who is being reappointed, talked about her experience on the Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) Trust Fund Board, and noted her satisfaction working on GOCO Legacy Projects.

Ruben Valdez, who is also being reappointed, spoke about his experience on the board, and noted what he considers to be positive accomplishments of the board.

Clarke Becker, also being reappointed, noted his board experiences, and emphasized his pride in working on the board. Mr. Becker said the GOCO staff is very helpful to rural communities applying for GOCO grants.
