Concerning a modification to the exemption from the "Colorado Liquor Code" for home brewers to permit an adult other than the head of a family to engage in home brewing activities for personal use without obtaining a liquor license. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 12-47-106, amend (2) (a) as follows: 12-47-106. Exemptions. (2) (a) Notwithstanding any provision of this article or article 46 of this title to the contrary, notwithstanding, when permitted by federal law and rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, a head of a family an adult may produce, for family personal use and not for sale, such an amount of fermented malt beverage or malt or vinous liquor as equal to the amount that is exempt from the federal excise tax on such the alcohol beverage when produced by a head of a family an adult for family personal use and not for sale. SECTION 2. Safety clause.
