02:35 PM -- Staff Updates
Mr. Damion Pechota, Legislative Council Staff, told the committee about the temporary display from the Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum on the third floor of the Capitol.
Mr. Pechota discussed plans for the collection of Governors' portraits, noting that conservators would be reviewing the portraits over a week's time. Ms. Contiguglia discussed this process with Mr. Pechota.
Ms. Eddins explained that the House has been instrumental in providing the display cases on the third floor.
Mr. Pechota noted that interpretive plaques will be added to the paintings in Room 271, which were previously located in the House chambers.
