The committee resumed consideration of House Bill 15-1297, concerning unfair business practices within vision insurance plans. The committee heard testimony on the bill on March 31, 2015, and April 2, 2015. Representative McCann said that one representative from the health insurance plans and one person representing the optometrists would be allowed to provide additional testimony on the amendments. Amendments L.009 and L.011 (Attachments A and B) were distributed to the committee. Representative Joshi and Representative Ginal discussed the stakeholder process that had occurred since the bill was last discussed by the committee on April 2, 2015.
