Kerri Hunter, Office of the State Auditor (OSA), introduced the OSA and described the office's responsibilities.
Crystal Dorsey, OSA, provided an overview of financial audit recommendations and performance and IT audit recommendations.
Ms. Hunter responded to committee questions regarding recommendations for the Office of the Governor and the OSA's communications with the various departments.
Nina Frant, OSA, discussed audit recommendations not fully implemented within the Department of Labor and Employment. Ms. Frant responded to committee questions regarding the implementation delays within the department and the process for holding departments accountable. Senator Balmer also explained the responsibilities of the Legislative Audit Committee in this process.
Ms. Frant discussed audit recommendations not fully implemented within the Department of Personnel and Administration.
Ms. Frant discussed audit recommendations not fully implemented within the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
Throughout the presentation, OSA representatives referenced the Annual Report of Audit Recommendations Not Fully Implemented as of June 30, 2014 (Attachment B).
