The committee returned to order. Representative Everett, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 15-060. The bill allows the Secretary of State to forward any information obtained from the Division of Motor Vehicles in the Department of Revenue to the appropriate county clerk for the purpose of updating an elector's voter registration.

10:03 AM -- Suzanne Staiert, Deputy Secretary of State, testified in support of the bill. Ms. Staiert discussed the process of drafting the bill, current voter registration law, and the need for streamlining the registration update process. She responded to questions from the committee about the process for updating information.

10:06 AM -- Elena Nunez, representing Colorado Common Cause, testified in support of the bill. Ms. Nunez reiterated the testimony of Ms. Staiert.
