08:01 AM -- Discuss Capital-related Legislation

The committee was called to order. A quorum was present. Mr. Matt Becker, Legislative Council Staff, presented a list of bills introduced to date in the 2015 session related to capital construction. Committee members received a memorandum, prepared by Legislative Council Staff (Attachment A). Discussion ensued on the current status of several bills.

08:08 AM -- Finalize Interim Meetings and Travel

Mr. Becker discussed the tentative agenda for the committee's interim tour of the northeast part of the state. Following a committee meeting on the morning of June 8, the committee plans to visit sites for state agencies and higher education institutions in the Fort Morgan, Sterling, Greeley, and Fort Collins areas. Discussion ensued on the schedule for the trip on June 8 - 10 and specific sites to be visited. In response to a committee question regarding other meetings during the interim, Mr. Becker discussed other interim meeting dates. Ms. Kori Donaldson, Legislative Council Staff, discussed several potential options to schedule annual hearings in December 2015 or January 2016.
