Representatives Carver and Lundeen, co-sponsors, presented House Bill 15-1125, which makes significant changes to the Colorado Academic Standards, requiring the State Board of Education to review two content areas each year. The bill also repeals the requirement that Colorado participate as a governing member in a multi-state consortium and limits statewide testing. Representative Carver described the provisions of the bill. He spoke about statewide support for the bill from former legislators and members of the State Board.
