02:45 PM -- SB 15-076

Senator Grantham, sponsor, requested that Senate Bill 15-076 be postponed indefinitely. Senate Bill 12-133 prohibited landfill disposal of specified electronic devices as of July 1, 2013, with exemptions for rural counties that do not have at least two electronic waste recycling events per year and whose board of county commissioners approve the exemption. This bill would have allowed a cathode ray tube (CRT) or an electronic device containing a CRT to be disposed of at certain landfills licensed as hazardous waste disposal sites. If a hazardous waste disposal site is not located within a county, the current exception procedure applies.

There was no testimony.
