Senator Hill resumed chairing the committee. Senator Kerr, sponsor, presented SB 056 which concerns reducing the frequency of administering the statewide assessment in social studies. Senator Kerr explained the bill. He talked about the usefulness of sampling and reporting assessment data once every three years instead of once every year.
