Representative Fields, sponsor, introduced House Bill 14-1131, which establishes cyberbullying as a new crime classification.. She discussed the Amendment L.003 (Attachment A), which makes cyberbullying a class 1 or class 2 misdemeanor, depending on the circumstances. Representative Fields discussed her own experiences with bullying and its consequences. She defined cyberbullying and discussed its effects on minors. Representative Fields responded to questions from the committee.
