Representative Hamner, Chair, welcomed the audience and committee members. She discussed House Bill 14-1139, which would change the way the Department of Education (CDE) counts students, from a single count-day to an Average Daily Membership (ADM) system.

Representative Priola, sponsor, distributed a handout (Attachment A) and Amendment L.001 (Attachment B). Representative Priola explained the provisions of Amendment L.001 (Attachment B). He explained when the data will be pulled and how ADM will be calculated.
