Representative Hamner, Chair, called the meeting to order and welcomed the committee members and the audience. Representative Holbert, sponsor, introduced House Bill 14-1120 which moves the deadline for passing a tax increase under Senate Bill 13-213 from 2017 to 2014. He explained that many of the provisions of SB13-213 can be accomplished without a tax increase. Committee discussion ensued. Representative Holbert responded to questions from the committee.

Representative McNulty moved a conceptual amendment to remove all references to "2014" and insert "2013." Representative Hamner chose not to accept the conceptual amendment.
