Representative Hamner thanked the witnesses for staying late to testify. Representative Fields, sponsor, presented House Bill 14-1085, which would allocate moneys from the State Education Fund to adult education programs. The bill creates the adult education and literacy grant program to provide state moneys for adult education programs that participate in workforce development partnerships.
