Representative Swalm, sponsor, presented House Bill 14-1177 concerning requirements governing meetings of the boards of county commissioners of the larger counties. The bill allows a board of county commissioners in counties with 100,000 or more people to hold fewer than two meetings per week under circumstances outlined by the provisions and if deemed reasonable by a majority of the board.
