The committee reconvened. Representatives Schafer and Landgraf introduced House Bill 14-1051. The bill requires the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing to develop a strategic plan for enrolling all eligible person with intellectual and developmental disabilities into home- and community-based services at the time enrollment is requested. The strategic plan must be submitted to the General Assembly and presented to the Joint Budget Committee on or before December 1, 2014. Amendments L.001, L.002, and L.003 were distributed to the committee (Attachments C, D, and E).
