She stated that the bill continues the State Board of Dental Examiners (board) until September 1, 2023, renames the board as the Colorado Dental Board, and implements the recommendations of the board's sunset review and report. She added that Colorado is currently the only state without continuing education requirements for dentists, which the bill aims to change, and outlined other technical changes of the bill. She responded to questions on the quality of dentistry in the state, the necessity of additional regulation of the industry, and the sunset date of the bill.
