Damion Pechota, Legislative Council Staff, provided an overview of the projects in Mr. Brown's Attic. Specifically, he spoke on the gilding display case, which is being installed by History Colorado in preparation for the dome reopening. The gilding display provides updated information on the dome restoration project and the re-gilding of the dome. Mr. Pechota also discussed a preservation panel that will be added to the exhibit to replace outdated information. The panel will provide information on preservation projects in the Capitol and throughout Colorado. In addition, Mr. Pechota spoke on the symbols and emblems display that will be constructed in the south end of the attic space. He said that design plans were being finalized and that the display would be completed by the end of 2014.
