Representative Peniston, Vice-Chair, began chairing the meeting and recognized the members of the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) in the audience.

Representative Hamner, sponsor, introduced House Bill 14-1182, which creates a temporary basis for accreditation during the 2015-2016 school year, while the state transitions to new assessments. Representative Hamner responded to questions from the committee.
