Brett Johnson, Deputy Treasurer, representing the Treasurer's Office, spoke in favor of the bill and responded to questions on how the bill alters the method of payments that the office can make and whether the office can do business with the marijuana industry. Representative Becker responded to a question on support for the bill.

Representative Priola distributed Amendment L.001 (Attachment F), and Representative Becker explained that it incorporates a safety clause into the bill.
