Donnah Moody, representing the Colorado County Assessors Association (CCAA), came to the table. She stated that the rerevised version of the bill would lead to problems for county assessors. She responded to questions on why the rerevised version of the bill would be difficult for county assessors to implement and which of the potential versions of the bill the CCAA would be most in support of. Committee discussion ensued.

The committee discussed the amendments proposed by Representative Singer, the power of county assessors to grant property tax breaks to individuals who have lost their property due to a natural disaster, the version of the bill that was passed by the Senate, and the merits of the legislation.
