01:49 PM -- Mr. Brown's Attic Exhibits

Ms. Marie Shapiro, Reed Art and Imaging, told the committee about the need to redesign the interactive learning exhibit in Mr. Brown's Attic. She explained that the new exhibit needs to be durable, easy to update for future additions, and interactive. She introduced Ms. Lisa McGuire, who will design the exhibit, and representatives from Sunshine Services, who will build the exhibit. Committee members received portfolio documents from Ms. McGuire (Attachment C) and Sunshine Services (Attachment D), as well as concept design materials for the new exhibit (Attachment E). Ms. McGuire described her previous work in museum exhibits and her goals for the new exhibit in Mr. Brown's Attic. She discussed her plans to make the exhibit interactive and still convey information.
