Representative Peniston introduced her bill that creates a process to certify and monitor the activities of professionals involved in the remediation of property contaminated by illegal drug labs. The bill requires the state Board of Health to promulgate rules regarding testing of contaminated property, standards for remediation, training and certification procedures, among other things. She provided Amendment L.005 to the committee (Attachment A). She responded to questions from the committee.
