Representative Landgraf introduced her bill that designates Fort Carson police officers as peace officers of the state. Under the bill, officers with Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) certification have the full authority of state peace officers and allows Fort Carson officers to obtain POST certification.

He read prepared testimony from the Provost Marshall at Fort Carson. He responded to questions from the committee. He explained the distinction between military police and the Fort Carson police.
