Representative Levy explained the effect of the bill. Representative Gerou provided further input on the effect of the legislation. Discussion ensued regarding the potential total cost for settling claims made against the state associated with the Lower North Fork Wildfire. Representative Levy provided background on the claims process for the fire. Representative Gerou explained how claims associated with other fires differ from those associated with the Lower North Fork Wildfire.
