Representative Williams called the meeting to order. A quorum was present. Representative Ryden chaired the meeting while Representative Williams presented SB 13-157. The bill continues the Division of Banking in the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) through September 1, 2024, and implements the recommendations of the DORA sunset report concerning modifications to banking regulations of the state. Representative Williams provided a brief overview of the regulation of banking, which began one year after statehood in Colorado. Representative DelGrosso thanked Representative Williams for bringing the bill.
