President Shaffer, vice-chair, called the House Committee on Legislative Council to order.

Mr. Mike Mauer, Legislative Council Staff, provided an overview of the meeting and the bills before the committee. Committee members received a memorandum concerning the bills that have been or are expected to be referred to the Legislative Council Committee (Attachment A).

Senator Cadman, sponsor, presented Senate Bill 12-086, concerning a study of the cost of regulatory compliance.
