Director Hard discussed the committee's charge and the response plan for the General Assembly and the legislative departments. Directors Hard and Klein made recommendations to improve the response plan and talked about the need to practice implementing a response plan. Committee discussion ensued concerning the committee's response plan and possible ways to practice or improve the plan. Director Klein responded to questions from the committee concerning possible methods to practice the response plan for the General Assembly and the types of events that would result in a declared disaster emergency by the Governor.
