Presentation by RTD Presentation on the FasTracks East Corridor		- -

11:01 AM -- Presentation by RTD

Representative McFadyen called the meeting to order. General Manager Phillip Washington, Regional Transportation District (RTD), presented to the committee. Mr. Washington introduced RTD staff and board members and provided background on RTD projects.

11:10 AM

Copies of the RTD presentation were provided to the committee members (Attachment A). Mr. Washington discussed construction progress of the FasTracks West Corridor line and the Denver Union Station redevelopment project. All lines are estimated to be "construction-ready" by the conclusion of 2010.

Mr. Washington provided background on the Eagle Public-private Partnership (P3) Project. Further information was provided on 2010 program evaluation analyses.

Mr. Washington discussed the RTD Construction Ready Task Force which is working to have the entire FasTracks program prepared for construction. Additional information was provided regarding benefits and job growth due to FasTracks. Mr. Washington responded to questions from committee members.

Representative Tyler discussed public outreach in the construction of the West Corridor FasTracks line.

11:50 AM -- Presentation on the FasTracks East Corridor

Manager of Aviation Kim Day, Denver International Airport (DIA), and General Manager Phillip Washington, RTD, presented to the committee on the FasTracks East Corridor line. Ms. Day discussed the benefits of the East Corridor line to DIA employees and travelers.
