Representative McFadyen called the meeting to order. Representative Soper, prime sponsor of Senate Bill 10-040, discussed the merits of the bill. The bill would set aside 5 percent of the Motorcycle Operator Safety Training Fund (MOST) moneys for a new safety program to address traffic interactions between motorcycles and other vehicles. The bill was laid over on May 4, 2010, when testimony was heard.
