Mike Sullivan, Division of Water Resources, explained that Earnest L. Mikita, is unable to attend the confirmation hearing and requested that the committee approve Mr. Mikita in absentia. He also explained that Mr. Mikita is currently a member of the Ground Water Commission and described his qualifications to serve another term on the commission (Attachment A).

Mr. Grant H. Bledsoe of Wray, a resident agriculturist from the Northern High Plains Basin, reappointed, described his qualifications and interest in serving another term on the Ground Water Commission. He also responded to questions from the committee concerning efforts in the Republican River Basin to comply with the Republican River Compact (Attachment A).

Corey M. Huwa of Roggen, a resident agriculturist from the Lost Creek Basin, reappointed, described his qualifications and interest in serving another term on the Ground Water Commission (Attachment A).
